As it is nice to have a nice snack with a cup of tea, coffee or a glass of milk. This bakery offers a nice balance between light and soft texture while retaining a crisp at first bite. It is a favorite at my house which are both regularly appear in that version version Nutella spread of various fruits. Watch them disappear!
Ingredients
125 g butter 125 g yogurt 1 teaspoon vanilla
table
sugar 250g flour 2 tsp
teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt
Ideas toppings: Nutella, fruit spread (like Double Fruit Spread Light), ricotta sweetened with 1 tbsp tablespoons sugar, a little grated orange or lemon or just your topping choices.
Icing sugar and cocoa powder to decorate
Preparation
In a medium bowl, melt the butter in the microwave and let cool .
Add yogurt and sugar until well mix.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and stir the ingredients gently, without handling too, just to combine.
Divide dough into 2 balls, cover with a clean dish towel and let stand for 20 minutes.
Spread dough with fingers on a lightly floured surface to a circle about 8 "in diameter.
Cut 6-pointed triangle.
Spoon about ½ teaspoon of filling the large end each edge of dough.
Roll for a cornetto (which means in Italian, little horn).
Repeat with the second ball of dough.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar or cocoa powder.
