Muffin with maple syrup and Philadelphia
Hummmmmmmmm a nice little tea in late afternoon with the sun's rays that link the tip of their nose for several days, although it is still too cold .
To accompany this little tea (Russian for me thank you!) I made small "muffin" with maple syrup. It is based, is soft, it's sweet, it's everything I love. (To quote the famous American slogan.)
This recipe comes from canada, I called muffin but it is a cross between a muffin and pudding though the unemployed experienced there.
This cupcake is very easy to make a real delight with little maple syrup (do not hesitate to put in!), The next time I'd add nuts in my dough for more than greed.
Ingredients for 12 muffins
240g flour 1 teaspoon baking

280ml milk 1 egg
50 ml oil 5 tablespoons maple syrup in the dough (allow more for muffin cups) butter

For the rest, the famous Philadelphia landed in France, Monoprix at the moment and hope also thereafter, so it upsets my philosophy of cheesecake ... I who was looking for the ideal texture for some time I have to lay down arms before the Philadelphia.

Another recipe full of chocolate ... I promise that I will soon make salted and especially since the coming week I am forced vacation (yes it exists, I am in training at 3 doctors and they are all on vacation next week so I am technically unemployed!)
To return to the recipe it comes straight from my old book American (the famous book), I just replaced the corn syrup of the original recipe for maple syrup and voila. Finally I take off a little bit of sugar because I think that every bite is at least four lumps of sugar in the mouth.
CAUTION RECIPE TO DO WITH A COOKING THERMOMETER
Ingredients: 400g sugar
180g chocolate 120g of kernels walnut cream 18CL
liquid
6cl maple syrup
6cl whole milk 30g butter
- In a saucepan over low heat, stir with a spoon of sugar, syrup, milk and cream without stirring for 5 minutes (to dissolve the sugar)
- Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
- Off the heat add the chocolate gradually until the mixture is smooth, (go easy)
- Return to heat and heat until 115 ° C and then remove from heat
- Place the pan in a bowl of cold water and beat until the fudge the temperature falls to 40 ° C. (About 5 minutes)

I was not disappointed because I found the taste of pancakes of my childhood in the small village of PONTORSON a few kilometers from Mont Saint Michel Restaurants THE CRICKET 37 rue Couesnon. 0233601780. For 12 euros it's OK with an appetizer, a savory crêpe and a sweet crepe.

I found no better title than this one to tell you about my weekend idyllic three days at Mount -Saint-Michel.

to start, Mont-Saint-Michel is off-season ... otherwise you can remove 50% of the charm of the destination. Already during this period there is a horde of foreign tourists but if we add the French I think it becomes hellish.

Hotel: Mercure
, 3km from the Mont Saint Michel, easy to walk, the path is well marked. At night, the hotel lends fluorescent vests to go to Mt. (Yes because it's even prettier lit)
The room is beautiful, spacious and quiet . (Important for me). A clean room with a super soft bed but no time to sleep in the morning because there is the buffet breakfast that awaits me. So this is my meal of the day! um until the evening ...
Le Mont Saint Michel:
entry gloups 9 euros but the hotel was selling cheaper tickets anyway. (There are special rates)
Before visiting the Abbey there are plenty of restaurants and shops with inflated prices, I advise you not to buy biscuits found the mother poulard everywhere and cheaper. (Saint Malo, for example)
Free guided tour every hour, we had a VIP visit ... 3 people for a guide, when I tell you that off-season is better!

I discovered the kir normand: cider and creme de cassis. I ate for the first time in my life a plate of seafood: I also put a good hour to eat.
These are photos of our dishes, I took my salt meadow lamb ... a real delight.
I recommend the dessert with cream and salted butter .... to fall, although I was not hungry with all this.
