I stick my plum tomatoes for many years (see here ). I received several requests to submit a homemade sauce, but as I use often my pots and house you, no, so I replaced my house tomatoes 1 can Italian tomatoes and 2 cans of crushed tomatoes cast (I love the Aurora grout because it contains nothing but tomatoes and salt). The result is excellent and the same result as in my house tomatoes. You use this with your favorite pasta sauce or prepare a good lasagna.
Ingredients 500 g lean ground meat (equal mixture of veal, pork, beef)
1 box of 796 ml of whole plum tomatoes Aurora (crushed by hand)
2 bottles of 660 ml of crushed tomatoes 4 tablespoons cast Aurora
tablespoons of olive oil 1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped carrot ½
finely chopped 1 stalk celery, finely chopped ½ tsp
teaspoon dried thyme 3 tablespoons
tablespoon chopped fresh basil
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon
tablespoons sugar
